Purdue Pete came by for a quick visit on Monday morning. He wanted to come in to remind us to put 100% in to everything we do, to never quit, and to always keep trying. He also told us that sports are fun, but grades are important. Without grades, the Purdue athletes can't play. So, when parents tell children to do their homework, it is a good thing! Being perfect is not what the goal is, trying and doing your best is the most important thing!
Purdue Pete also showed us that with determination, and perseverance he was able to learn how to slam dunk a basketball. Then the best part..... he DID it!
